Always a warm and efficient welcome. Great urgent care services and vet and techs have wonderful rapport with our dogs. Checkout was quick and efficient. They also do a great job alleviating patient and owner anxiety.

Been going here for pet care for 15yrs. They hire the best vet techs and front desk personnel. Always friendly and helpful. Their love ❤️ for dogs is evident. Very caring group through the years

Great visit. Pleasant staff. Vet tech was helpful and anything she couldn’t answer she got info about right away. Vet herself actually listened, did not rush me (even though we were the last patient in her long day!) and took all of my questions and concerns seriously. I felt respected as a pet owner and that my kitty was valued and safe in their care!

Love Otay Pet Vets..you have the convenience of being next door to the dog park and the mall... a huge shout out to Dr. L Salcido...a wonderful vet . You can tell she is really mindful about the care she provides and wants your pet to thrive and stay healthy . Overall the admin staff very are helpful , vets/vet techs are sincere and friendly , the service trustworthy, and location are all top notch !

Dr. Golsen assisted by Abigail did a stellar job of comforting an anxious human dog mom, handling my little sweetheart, and, keeping me informed about the healing process for her injured eye. Also, both were kind enough to not point out that I should be more aware that when she scratches herself, her claws might injure her eye. I’ll be more alert in the future to this common hazard & soft-collar her until we can get her groomed. Thanks for being there for us..

I want to say that Dr Anderson is the most honest caring vet I have taken my fur babies to ever!! My little guy who just turned 13 developed seizures this passed May and it has been devastating to watch and go through😢 Dr Anderson was so honest with me and told me that no matter what the blood work came back that we would still treat him the same so I could do it if I wanted or not. I am out of work and I really appreciate him putting my fur baby first and not the money and putting him through all these tests to treat him just the same. I would definitely recommend Dr Anderson at Otay pet vets over any other vet around here!! Thanks Dr Anderson

I love Otay Pet Vets family owned business! I have been coming here since they opened in 2006. I love how They hire military spouses and are true supporters of the military with a rewards system! Dr Anderson has been my vet for 16 years and although I don’t always get to see him, all the doctors are amazing! The whole team every time I’ve been there is working hard, and truly treat my pets like they’re their pets… true love!

Tough to express how disappointed and saddened of my experience today. Past visits were very pleasant. Dropped off our dog for a teeth cleaning and picked up our dog with 12 teeth extracted with no consent from the owner. Voice-mail was recorded, call back occurred, to further express non consent of the tooth extraction on a procedure that was only "recommended" and non life or death. Receptionist mentioned the procedure for extracting the teeth already occurred upon expressing the nin consent over the recorded telephone line. When picking up our dog, the receptionists were laughing at our reaction to hearing the news, further turning over our dog covered with blood all over his face. You can see the difference of what his fur is supposed to look like. The event traumatizing and very unprofessional to say the least. I hope your pets stay safe under their care.
